Our story
Why we started
Property managers in Surrey kept telling us the same thing. They were paying for patrols they could not check up on, waiting days for a written report, and getting billed extra for key holding they thought was included. When something finally went wrong, nobody could say when the site had last been visited.
We started Optima to fix that. Every checkpoint is scanned on site using GPS. Every report goes into your account as it is written, not days later. Key holding is included. We agree a response time with you in writing. It is simple: if we say we did something, you should be able to see the proof.

Everything is written down
Every site gets GPS checkpoint scanning and live digital reporting, so there is always a record of what was done.
Every guard is licensed
Every guard holds an individual BC security licence. You’re entitled to verify it, and we encourage you to.
No surprise charges
Key holding is included. Quotes are written against an agreed scope. You will not find new charges appearing a few months in.

How we train our guards
A provincial licence is the starting point, not the finish. On top of that, every guard is briefed on your building: which doors do not latch properly, which parkade level has the recurring problem, who is allowed on site after hours, and who to call first.
We write that down for every site, so cover does not fall apart when a regular guard is away.
