Looking for a security company in Surrey you can actually trust? Optima Security is licensed, insured, and locally focused, with every guard trained.
We’ve built our operations around how Surrey, BC actually works, from the busy retail and commercial areas of Surrey City Centre and Whalley to the growing residential communities in Guildford, Fleetwood, and South Surrey. We also understand the industrial and commercial activity around Newton, Campbell Heights, and the Scott Road corridor, where different properties face different security needs. When you search for security companies in Surrey, you want a provider who understands the streets, buildings, businesses, and risks specific to Surrey, BC, not just a city name swapped into a generic template.
Surrey’s growth brings different security challenges across the city. From the busy retail and commercial activity around Surrey City Centre and Whalley to Guildford, Newton, Fleetwood, Cloverdale, and South Surrey, businesses and properties face different security needs depending on their location and type. Surrey also continues to see significant development and construction activity, creating additional security considerations for active job sites, vacant properties, equipment, and building materials. These aren’t abstract risks. Surrey has dedicated public-safety data tracking issues such as business break-ins, residential break-ins, vehicle theft, theft from vehicles, shoplifting, and graffiti across the city. With Surrey divided into distinct areas including Whalley-City Centre, Guildford-Fleetwood, Newton, Cloverdale-Port Kells, and South Surrey, effective security starts with understanding the specific environment a property operates in.

The Difference
What Makes Optima Security Different
Verification
Checkpoint Scanner Verification
How do you actually know your site was checked? Every patrol stop is logged through GPS-enabled checkpoint scanning, giving you documented, time-stamped proof, not just a guard’s word for it after the fact.
Reporting
Live Digital Reporting
Want to see what’s actually happening on your property in real time? Our reporting software gives you direct visibility into patrol logs, incidents, and checkpoint activity as they happen, not written up on paper and handed to you days later.
Dedicated Patrol Vehicles
Marked patrol cars covering Surrey around the clock, providing visible deterrence on the street and faster response between scheduled checkpoints when something does happen.
Guaranteed Alarm Response Time
We commit to a real, measurable alarm response time for every Surrey property we cover, not a vague promise of “fast service” that means something different to every provider.
No Key-Holding Charges
Key holding is included in our service as standard, never billed back to you as a hidden extra the way some providers structure their pricing.
$5 Million Liability Insurance
Every job, every guard, every Surrey site we cover is fully protected under $5M liability insurance, protecting your property and your business if something goes wrong.
Local Operations
One of Surrey, BC Leading Security Companies
Optima Security operates across Surrey, BC, from the busy commercial areas of Surrey City Centre and Whalley to the retail hubs of Guildford and Newton, the growing residential communities of Fleetwood and Cloverdale, and the established neighbourhoods of South Surrey and South Westminster. We’re built specifically around how Surrey operates, with security solutions tailored to the different businesses, properties, and environments found across the city, not a generic template applied to every market we happen to serve.
Whether you’re managing a strata building dealing with parkade break-ins and cut bike-cage locks, a retailer in Surrey City Centre or Guildford facing shoplifting concerns, or a construction site in Fleetwood, Newton, or South Surrey exposed to equipment and material theft, our approach is shaped by what’s actually happening on the ground in Surrey, BC, not by a checklist written for a different city.
Surrey is also home to major institutions and facilities such as Simon Fraser University’s Surrey campus, Surrey Memorial Hospital, and Kwantlen Polytechnic University, each with its own distinct security profile. We understand that a strata council’s priorities in Surrey City Centre or Whalley can look very different from a warehouse or industrial operator’s priorities around Campbell Heights or the Port Kells area, and we staff and plan accordingly.
